Town Budget

Each year, the Mayor and Town Council are tasked with drafting and passing a budget for the General Fund and Enterprise Fund. The Town budget considers regular expenditures, capital projects, debt service and revenues among other variables. During the budget process, the elected officials, Town staff and volunteers of the Budget & CIP Committee strive to devise a budget that meets all of the Town's needs and obligations in a responsible manner during the the upcoming fiscal year, which runs from July 1st to June 30th of the following calendar year. The public is permitted, and encouraged to attend and provide input at hearings and public meetings related to this process.
