Capital Projects

Brethren Church Road- sewer pump station, located at the bottom of Poplar St, is in design. This upgrade will require temporary above-ground piping pump around while reconstruction is occurring. The project is scheduled to commence in fall of 2025.

Bullivant Park– is in conceptual design for passive recreational amenities. The park features a long walking trail and is accessible via the lane next to the Town Welcome sign

Deerwoods Trail- is in design for a trail along US Rt 40 to connect to the Young Nature Preserve Trail via bridge over Middle Creek to a new sidewalk on Deerwoods Place.

Doubs Meadow Park- “soccer side” trail and pavilion plans are approved and moving to bid for construction in late summer of 2025. This project will include a new trail segment, pavilion, and replacement of water line.

Easterday Sewer Line- has received State grant fund award for extension of sewer to several existing homes above the Town Water Plant.

Harp Alley- will include improvements to the alley at Main St. and conveying the remainder of the alley to the adjacent property owners.
