Budget Hearing Notice

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TOWN OF MYERSVILLE

In accordance with Section 600 of the Myersville Charter, notice is hereby given that the
Mayor and Council of Myersville will hold a Public Hearing to be held on Tuesday, May
12, 2026 beginning at the hour of 7:00 P.M,for adoption of the proposed Fiscal Year
2027 Budget.

The proposed Fiscal Year 2027 Budget includes all general fund and water and sewer
(enterprise) fund revenues and expenditures projected for July 1,2026 through June 30,
2027. The Budget also includes the proposed municipal tax rates and water/sewer rates
for Fiscal Year 2027. In addition, the Budget outlines the capital improvement plan for
necessary public infrastructure improvements for the Town of Myersville.

The Fiscal Year 2027 municipal property tax rate is proposed at .346 per $100.00 of
assessment. The Fiscal Year 2027 municipal business real personal property tax rate is
proposed at 0.782 per $100.00 of assessment. The Fiscal Year 2027 municipal utility
tax rate is proposed at 1.173 per $100.00 of assessment. The Fiscal Year 2027
municipal pole tax rate is proposed at $40.44 per pole and per 100’ of line.

Copy of the proposed Fiscal Year 2027 Budget is available on the Town website and at
the Myersville Municipal Center for any citizens wishing to receive a copy of the
proposed Budget for review. The credentials for public participation will be provided on
the Town website, Myersville.org or shall be provided upon request. Any person
desiring a stenographic transcript shall be responsible for supplying a competent
stenographer.
