Valve Insertion Notice

Beginning on or about Monday, January 12, 2026, the Town of Myersville in concert with the approved contractor, Guyer Brothers Inc, will be commencing with a field investigation to include hydro-excavation of several locations on the Myersville water system main line infrastructure for insertion of valves to improve maintenance operations of the system. These areas include the following locations:



2642 Canada Hill Road (adjacent road 20’ from stub end of sidewalk)
2850 Canada Hill Road (adjacent road 10’ from hydrant)
2833 A Monument Road (approximately 20’ off farm lane/bridge at hydrant)
Eagle Bay Drive (rear of road stub in to RFP property)
5 Main Street (adjacent sidewalk 10’ from hydrant)


The contractor will be excavating the area to determine pipe size and depth. Contractor will secure the area or backfill and return at later date to proceed with valve insertion. Please contact Town Manager, Kristin Aleshire, at the Town Hall at 301-293-4281, with any questions.
